Major Tom was a fictional astronaut which was created by David Bowie. Major Tom appears in the songs, Schilling, Mrs. Major Tom, by K. I. A., and it is believed that Elton Johnís, Rocket Man, may also be about Major Tom. Bowie had Major Tom in his release called, Ashes To Ashes, and Space Oddity. Then there was Peterís version called, Major Tom Coming Home.
