Duck Hunt

Duck Hunt was one of the games which was included with the first nintendo game pieces back in the 1980's. The game was first released in 1984 and was designed for the Nintendo Enterment System (NES) game console. The players use the zapper (gun) to shoot the ducks on the screen and get points for each one shot. The game was developed by Nintendo and was released first in Japan where it was designed. The duck appears one or two at a time and the player is given three chances to shoot them in each set. The Duck Hunt game was also based on a Laser Clay Shooting System which was made prior to the Nintendo Entertainment System version.

Gyromite was the other game which was included with the first Nintendo game consoles sold. Later it was replaced by the Mario Bros. Mario Bros. Turned out to be one of the biggest and most popular series of games designed in the video game world. It is still very well liked by many. The Duck Hunt was fun but it just did not make the grade when it came to the more exciting games such as Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. or even Space Invaders. These games were a big part of what was to become the game world. Today there are many video games and several different game systems to choose from. Some people take this game world very seriously and there is a lot of money being made on the games and the systems. There are also a lot of the games that can be played on the computer. Some come with software and others can be downloaded from the internet. Some are free and others have to be purchased. Many of the games available online can be used on a trial basis and if you like it then you have to buy it before you can download the whole game. Millions of dollars are spent every year on these games and will continue to in the future because there does not seem to be any evidence that it will decrease anytime soon. It is believed that many of our kids today are spending too much time on playing these games and not enough time on learning. It is also believed by some parents that some of the games are too graphic and violent today and they do not like for their kids to be exposed to them. The parents have to watch and be very careful to make sure their children are not getting exposure to the violent games because some kids are not stable enough to distinguish the difference between fake and reality.
